Charlotte began practicing yoga in 2010 after her dad insisted she attend a class with him. She fell in love with the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of the practice, and as her practice progressed, yoga became her vehicle to go inward and stay present.
After graduating from Bowdoin College, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Kripalu Center in the Berkshires. Her training at Kripalu introduced her to the many ways in which yoga can be integrated off the mat and in our everyday lives.
With an emphasis on self-care and self-love, Charlotte’s alignment-based vinyasa classes build heat and energy through creative sequences and powerful flows. She invites her students to take a non-judgmental approach to their yoga practice and to honor and respect their bodies wherever they may be at that moment; a pose today may feel completely different than it felt yesterday and than it will feel tomorrow, and Charlotte strives to show her students that this is what makes yoga so beautiful and humbling.
