Kate loves to empower students to find their own inner teacher through a practice that increases the mind-body connection. Playful yet alignment-based in her instruction, Kate believes yoga uniquely has the power to strengthen as well as heal the body. Kate began her path to yoga as a complement to marathon training. After being sidelined by a running injury, she started a regular yoga practice and fell in love with the positive effect it had on her life.
Kate earned her 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certificate at Usha Veda Yoga in Brooklyn, NY under the guidance of Margherita Tisato and Christina Mattus. She is also a certified Group Exercise Instructor.
