Michelle began practicing yoga in 2004, and rededicated herself in 2012 to support a rigorous triathlon training program. In between swimming, cycling and running, she found herself in the yoga studio more and more frequently. Practicing yoga soon became the priority, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Michelle earned her 200-hour yoga certification through YogaWorks Boston with Renee LeBlanc and Caitlyn Graham-Visconte. Her studies featured advanced training in asana and alignment, and an emphasis on building healthy classes through the study of anatomy and smart sequencing.
Like most yoga enthusiasts, Michelle’s mat is her happy place. She believes that challenging sequences help dissolve the stress of daily life, and better equip us to handle whatever life throws our way. When she's not in the yoga studio, you can usually find Michelle running along the Charles River or around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.
