Sydney began practicing yoga when she was seventeen, initially looking for a physical practice to compliment my history of sports. Once she grew into her practice, it became so much more-- she began to see yoga as an outlet, as a safe space. Sydney's practice brings her joy, and she feels it is her job to bring that joy to others.
Sydney signed up for my RYT-200 less than six months after beginning my practice. Since then, she's grown every day, pulling inspiration from the outside world to set meaningful intentions around which she structures her flows. Sydney teaches an athletic vinyasa flow, choosing postures meant to challenge, invigorate, and empower. Since she practices yoga to remind herself of her strength, she hopes to instill the same sense of ability in her students as they practice.
