Yin + Sound Healing Autumn Series

As the days become shorter and our attention starts to naturally go inwards, we have an opportunity to discover the immense world that lies within. Yin yoga allows these discoveries to take place as we work deep into the connective tissue and bones. These slow paced poses help us to reconnect inward, balance our energy flows, and revitalize our bodies.

Join Natalie and Ryan this November for a series of three Yin + Sound Healing classes to rebalance, reconnect, and regenerate your body and senses. Each class will combine seven poses across the distinct energy channels within the body, accompanied by the healing and restorative sound from the crystal singing bowls. The frequency and vibration from the bowls, as well as the deeper, more internal experience from Yin Yoga, will ground you and leave you feeling restored and recentered.

This is a 3-part series being offered Wednesday evenings in November: 11/3, 11/10, 11/17

This series can be taken all together, or as individual drop-in. $45/session or $120 for three.

Sleep Sound Yoga Nidra

Sleep Sound Yoga Nidra

In a world of doing, Yoga Nidra takes you to a place of non-doing, a place that might be as foreign as traveling to a distant country. In this state of rest, healing is taking place at the optimal level for our physical, energetic, mental, and emotional bodies.

The ethereal sounds of the crystal singing bowls add an even deeper level of relaxation through auditory vibrations tuned to the universal sound of 432 Hz. This practice, along with the sound, brings us back to our original state of being, a place where we can enter again and again, and come home to ourselves.

About Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra translates to "sleep yoga". It is a systematic form of guided relaxation that takes you to a point just above sleep, a point where your body can experience true relaxation. In this day and age, most individuals never truly get out of flight or fight mode, activating the heightened stress response in the body. The practice of this deep meditative state allows your body to soften in all ways. It allows your awareness to drop as far as the delta brainwave state. Since all other activity is shut off, this is the most restorative state for the body. It is here where the body can increase serotonin, oxytocin, and human growth hormone. It is also here where the body decreases cortisol, soothes chronic pain and depression, and releases anxiety, bringing us back to our original state of being.

In this experience, Yoga Nidra is paired with the sound of the crystal singing bowls, tuned to the universal sound of 432 hz. Participants receive the healing properties of crystal quartz on a physical, mental, and emotional level. Sound is important in Yoga Nidra because most people constantly deal with the "mental chatter", and the auditory vibrations "distract" the mind from anxiously attaching to these sensations that come in the form of thoughts, emotions, or physical sensations. You will emerge from this workshop feeling rejuvenated and at ease.
